So, we had our weekly Mastermind group tonight and I was reminded of a very powerful lesson - we are always creating. Always. The question is "would I rather create my life on purpose or by default?".
Every thought we think is a powerful and creative force of nature. Every picture we hold in our mind is creating, something will manifest out of our thoughts. What am I predominantly thinking about? Every subject is really two subjects. Take money for instance. There's the subject of money, then there's the subject of the lack of money. Which one am I thinking about? Am I thinking about the wanting of money, or am I thinking about the having of money? If I'm thinking about the having of money, then I feel good, I feel grateful. I know that God is my source and I am supplied abundantly and right on time. If I'm thinking about the wanting of money, then I'm not trusting my source and probably trying to figure out how to get money. Here's an affirmation that I find to be very effective: "God, I am so happy and grateful to be the receiver of this money that you have given. Thank you so very much".
If I am in a state of gratitude, I can't be in a state of fear, sadness or depression, it's physically impossible. If I am imagining a past time, maybe a time when finances were tough, I'm looking back. It's like driving while looking in the rear view mirror. Don't look back unless that is the way you want to go. Where are you headed? Is it happy there? Are you happy there? If the answer is yes, then keep going in that direction, you'll get there. Be patient. It's happening. You'll get there right on time. If not, then ask yourself, "what do I want to experience", then form a mental picture of it. Be as detailed as possible. Just allow yourself to dream and enjoy. Anything is possible in your mind. Anything.
I know where I'm going. I'm on the happy journey to the land of joy. There I am, doing, having and being all that I need to live the fullest life imaginable. I am a successful fashion designer with a thriving business enjoying happy, healthy relationships with friends and family and sharing my life, with the love of my life. I live in financial freedom, comfort and joy. This life is such a blessing.
This is my vision and I accept nothing less. This or something better is now manifest in my life experience and as we way in the Science of Mind, "And So It Is".
Amen.

Day 3 and I'm still at it.
Surprise, surprise. I'm still blogging...and it's been three whole days. Who says I don't stick with things I start?

I decided to upload my first pic tonight. Had some troubles, but after downloading this Picassa thingy, all is well. Oh, I did find out that I needed to shrink my photo down, it was like 12 inches wide originally, now it's more like 5x7. Thank goodness for friends who have gone before me in blogging land.
So, the dress you're seeing tonight is one of my new Katchy Kids designs. It's actually not finished yet, I will be adding one more little detail so be sure to come back and see the finished product. I will be ordering my Katchy Kids labels very shortly to put into these cute little creations, then into my Etsy Shop they go!

Blogging: The second day of my new habit.
Blogging is like this magical mystical thing, so therapeutic in nature as if there's someone actually inside of this machine listening and caring about my every word. Hmmm. Interesting. I wonder how many other people spent the better part of their day on Facebook, virtually interacting with ex-lovers, family members, complete strangers and everyone or anyone else in between? Not to mention having a 10 year old child who now has a Facebook account of her own and can spend hours of quality time playing games like Farkle or Farmville, none of which have earned a special place in my very busy and important schedule.
So, I'm affirming my place in the Universe as an aspiring Fashion Designer of all things girly, but seem to have a creative block going on. Hopefully, it won't last long and the ideas will begin to spring forth in abundance. I'll be filling up my Katchy Kids Boutique in no time!
Looked at some of Steven Wright's quotes tonight. He's always been one of my favorite comedians. Here's one I remember: What do you do if you get scared half to death twice?
So, off I go for now into the land of dreams. Soon to be posting pix and linking to cool and interesting stuff. I'm looking forward to my own future posts.
Until then...

My first blog post ever.
Ok. This one will be short and sweet. This is my very first blog post ever. In the history of the blogging world. Or the history of the regular world. I'm sure that my friend Lorrie Bennett of Divine Design Art Studio will be assisting me in prettying up my blog. She pretties up everything she touches. Together, we're going to pretty up Asheville, North Carolina when we open up our amazing boutique there offering our artistic gifts to the world. By next week, my Etsy shop, Katchy Kids Boutique will be open. Hey, I like this blogging stuff.
